Conferences
Tribal Libraries, Museums, and Archives Conference
During my iSchool
journey, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to attend a
number of professional conferences. Each conference exposed me to a
different area of librarianship and provided the opportunity to
network and to establish connections with professional librarians and
LIS students. In reflecting back on the conference workshops and
sessions, I feel that all were valuable to my education and future
career. I especially enjoyed the conference sessions that were relevant
to me as a student, Sherman Alexie's keynote speech at ACRL, and
hearing my adviser Cheryl Metoyer read from Scott Momaday at the Tribal
Libraries, Archives, and Museums Conference.
